Why We Specialize in Tax Relief
Several years ago, we saw other tax relief companies taking advantage of corporation managers who didn’t understand the complex range of tax laws. Corporations have clear rights and responsibilities in the administrative sphere, but when it comes to entering into contracts, loaning and borrowing money, suing and being sued, and owning assets, they may lack the diverse specialist qualifications and expertise required to handle tax laws.
Move Forward with Us
Seeing this, we decided to focus on assisting corporations by leading them through a process that solves tax problems while enabling them to develop greater in-house tax competency. With our commitment to service, you can rest assured that we will keep you informed every step of the way, taking the emotional burden off your shoulders.
Recent Tax Changes
With the demands of managing the day-to-day operations of your business, it’s not surprising if you aren’t on top of all of the important tax changes that may be relevant to your corporation. Here are three that may impact your operations:
1. Sales Tax Exemption for Qualifying Data Centers
The Texas State Government implemented a new sales tax exemption program, effective 1 September 2013. Further information is provided on the State Government website.
2. Payroll Tax Changes
On New Year’s Day 2013, two payroll tax changes occurred in the Social Security portion of payroll tax, increasing worker’s tax from 4.2% to 6.2%. At the same time, the Hospital Insurance portion of payroll tax increased by .9%.
3. Change in Taxability of Snack Items
From 1 September 2013, snack foods are exempt from sales tax if they are not sold through a vending machine or in individual-sized portions.
With these changes (and many others), along with the increasing complexity of the tax system, it is not a surprise if your corporation has difficulty staying on top of its tax obligations.
